Calling Your Legislators Is Easy

Call the Legislative Hotline at 1-800-562-6000 (TTY for Hearing Impaired 1-800-635-9993) any time from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday or between 9am and 1pm on Saturday and leave this simple message:

"My name is _______ and a constituent of the _ District. I care about ensuring that every Washingtonian has the opportunity to live in a safe, healthy, affordable home.

As you start the new legislative session and you begin the long process of putting together operating budgets, please be sure to fully fund vital safety-net programs that prevent and end homelessness. I am specifically referring to fully funding the Housing and Essential Needs and the Aged, Blind, and Disabled Programs. I also totally support allocating 6 million dollars for the Washington Families Fund!"
