The Housing Alliance's communications guy Joaquin Uy will be joined by Erin and Denise with the online advocacy organization Firesteel to take you through social media and advocacy basics. We'll also soar into higher-level strategy and tactics for those who crave more.

Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day may be on the other side of the mountains from where you live. But thanks to technology, that doesn’t need to stop you from advocating from Yakima both during and after Advocacy Day. 

We'll cover:

• Facebook and Twitter as housing and
  homelessness advocacy tools.
• Skype and Google+ Hangouts as options
  for meeting with your legislators.
• Other opportunities to strengthen
  your advocacy efforts.
