Campion Foundation: Advocacy to End Homelessness

Share:

"People are driven to homelessness by many different causes—some are personal, while others are entirely outside of their control, or “structural.” Campion Foundation believes that structural causes drive homelessness far more than individual, biographical causes. Further, structural causes require structural changes, which will only happen through public policy changes driven by effective advocacy."

--Don Andre, Associate Director, Campion Foundation

The Campion Foundation, who has been a strong supporter of the Low Income Housing Alliance, penned an article for the Alliance for Justice's Bolder Advocacy blog about why they choose to invest in advocacy in order to advance their goals of ending structural causes of homelessness.

It's a great read, and definitely worth your time. Check it out here: http://bolderadvocacy.org/blog/advocacy-to-end-homelessness-the-campion-foundation-story
